it's been a while
it's been ages since my last post.
will update later on the bloody "sembreak" and the catastrophic, but somehow fulfilling, media speaker series.
roadtrip yesterday, dated november 18, 2007.
with misha, jaja and jason.

i actually got to see a real-life movie shoot yesterday.
yes, yes, i was jumping up and down in ecstasy yesterday. but just in my head.
IT WAS THE EPITOME OF COOLNESS.
we were "hanging out" at the monitor with director Topel Lee. haha! *jumps up and down*
Topel showed us the interior location, told us all sorts about lights and filters and big-ass stands and scaffolding (new big word), and basically taught us about real-life filmmaking in the span of FOUR hours.
i learned more in those four hours than in the lecture part of my two terms of FEATURE FILMMAKING and CINEMATOGRAPHY.
that says a lot.
may mas cool pa sa pagkatuto namin!!! pinaupo kami ni Topel sa monitor, sa labas ng location. Katabi namin siya, tapos nagkukuwentuhan lang tungkol sa movies at more movies at more more movies at mga napagdaanan niyang iba't ibang shoot. tsaka pala mga chismis. hehehehe.

Topel: tas, eh may talk pala sa NYU si..sino ba 'to..yung DOP ng seven tsaka fight club,
so iniisip namin kung tutuloy ba kami magtrabaho o papanoorin namin yung talk...
grabe. galing niya mag pause at play ng God-mode.
si God siya sa shoot kasi may mic lang siya near the monitor (na nasa labas ng location), tapos dun lang niya sinasabi yung commands niya, na naririnig sa interior location.

liquor ban?
tama bang 830pm at lasing na lasing na kami? si joy may nakikita nang clouds.
si dastine yung pinakamadaming nainom. dapat nga 1/2 yung share mo sa booze chong.
joy, wala sa inuupuan yung malas sa magic 99. nasa utak. hahahahahaha, peace tayo dast.
to gold, mina and marianne. nawa'y makasama kayo sa next na lakad slash inuman.
alam niyo ba guys na marimar look na si karen? at si jiji...wala, ganun pa rin. lutang. heehee.
i missed you guys. wednesday night ok?
started the program at around 5. or maybe 530, not really sure. basta 8 or 830 basag na lahat. beri good. drove around town (actually, merishel drove. we just sat and laughed). wow, ang dami na naman na U-turn na ginawa. record breaking na talaga yata yung kagabi. lost count eh. nadaig yung tagaytay.
the ambiguous/film noir/crime scene looking reggae bar was luckily closed. ended up at starbucks sa shopwise. wise decision. coffee vs booze, and coffee kind of won.
drove everyone to their pitstop. merishel's a master driver now. texted dastine a drunk text and she actually fell for it. laugh trip in chel's car. went home. texted everyone. lied on bed.

R O O K I E
filmed FILM NOIR exercise last saturday. totally bombed lighting. para sa'kin maganda na, pero siyempre hindi pa rin benta kay miss. at siyempre ayaw niya yung storytelling. siguro nga malabo. pero barilan kasi eh. and gangsters. so probably, not really her type. hence 2.5.
parang hindi talaga ko for filmmaking. pinapakita na yata ni Lord sa'kin ang tamang daan. mababa ako sa subjects ni miss rica eh. last term, FEATURE. ngayon CINEMAT. feature filmmaking and cinematography. parang sinasabi ni Lord, **hint, hint**. sa ibang field niya ko pinapapunta.
sa ibang field ko na lang daw ilagay sa credits ang ANIMO LA SALLE.
terribly needed to blog. pero madaming hindi pala pwede isulat. kailangan pala ifictionalize. or daanin na lang sa emo na kanta.
so bale 3/4 emo 'tong post, 1/4 animo.
must bloody refresh brain for wrifilm.
must do something with life.
must stop obsessing.
must get in bloody fit shape.

ang tagal ng term na 'to
"how can you be paso????how can you be paso?????????"
buti nagkaintindihan kami nila malia, jason, sara at jaja kanina na pare-parehas kaming walang ginagawa. parang hindi kami busy.
cool kids kami ngayon. para sa'min. kasi pa-peteks-peteks lang eh. hindi ko sigurado kung ganyan nga spelling ng term na yan.
pero pinag-usapan namin ni jason kagabi na napaka-walang ginagawa nga namin ngayon. tipong slacker type na tuloy kami. parang hindi tuloy namin ininda yung halos three hours na chismisan.
three hours...sounds family huh? parang yung autobio lang ni jaso...
anyway.
wala tuloy dumidistract sa utak ko from #7 and #9.
nakita pa namin si #7 kanina. sa may agno. very very hot and luscious. kahit mas matangkad ka ng konti sa kanya jason, mas sexy at macho kasi siya eh. tsk.
