kahit nakisabay ang victory party si manny pacquiao, daig pa rin ng victory party namin yung kanya. live simulcast from dlsz (or is it gh?) dahil champions din yung men's juniors basketball ng lasalle.

parang buong gabi ko tinatawag si cholo every chance i get. starting from the parade. it's bordering on "feeling close". rubbing elbows na yata kami eh. parang ganun lang eh. so malamang, sa ilang beses ko siyang tinatawag, titingin talaga siya ano.
but seriously, i think the novelty of the basketball players has worn off on me. it's my very own araby: the excitement and adrenaline rush of getting to see them at the victory party and having them sign their names and getting their pictures, wasn't really all there when the exact moment of seeing them came. kind of like what malia always reacts. "nyeah." which is said malia/homer/fat kid on simpsons style.
congratulations, i am now officially basketball fever free.
pero ieexploit ko pa din ang moment kay cholo kapag binigay na namin sa kanya yung interview. hindi ko na talaga palalampasin yun.
CHOLO MOMENT 1:
during parade
cholo passes by
kat: CHOLO! CHOLO! jumping up and down
cholo: uy... waves hello
kat: pinalabas sa class kanina yung video!
cholo: ah talaga?
kat: waves bye
kasi parang ang awkward na nung moment. we were doing this while he was walking away, because he was in the parade. parang... sige na, diyan ka na, lakad ka na, nakakahiya na eh. pero napaka bait niya talaga.
CHOLO MOMENT 2:
at "backstage"/sidelines of stage
because ale and i wanted to see
who the hell was playing
ale: si cholo!!!
kat: papicture na tayo!!!
ale: tawagin mo! game!
other people rush to get his picture
kat: milan! milan! sign language na papicture kami kay cholo
milan does his best
but cholo is stressed and busy already
milan: mamaya, promise, mamaya talaga.

CHOLO MOMENT 3:
at backstage/sidelines again
the athletes are coming our way

kat: CHOLO!! CHOLO!! waving like a lunatic
cholo: looks and points at kat
you're my favorite flava
tapos ang sweet sweet naman niya sa girlfriend niya. sabi nga ni jill napaka-cinematic nung moment. awwwww. out of the crowd, he goes out of his way, handpicks one girl, takes her hand, guides her out of the crowd. *tear*
see, even my tears are green.
gagawa tayo minsan ng movie na ganun jill.
